Sophisticats Gentleman’s Club

Now most people are going to say ‘aaaah a strip club’ but its more than that!! Its a dream world with funky decor and high class drinks!

This is an experience and more!

I hit this spot with a couple of my mates and had probably the best time of the year so far. You are made to feel important and this always helps. You are also made to feel at home which doesn’t always happen at other clubs of this type. Most just want the pounds and then they leave you alone!

Expect to pay a £20 cover charge and drinks aren’t that cheap but they not not going to tear a serious hole in your wallet!

Lap dances range but the cheapest is £20. Not that bad!

all in all this is the superior gentleman’s club in London and it would be a shame not to go. Fantastic for boys nights out and special occasions!

I can’t wait to go back! It just jumped to my favourite place in London.

Let me know what you think!!

Things to do in London!

There are so many things to do in London and these are a couple of ideas that I have read about, come up with and heard about.. Hope you enjoy and maybe take part in some of them. If you have any that I haven’t listed please don’t hesitate to comment and I shall add it to the list!

 1. Catch a gig at the O2 or any venue for that matter.

There are so many gigs happening every night that its a shame to come to London and not see a couple. Pick up TNT magazine and have a look or hunt the web for those more hard to find gigs!!

2. Hit the Tate Modern

View some of the most modern and controversial pieces of art London has to offer. It doesn’t matter if you not into art, it’s just something that you have to do..

3. Cruise through Portobello market

Plenty of bargains to be had, good food and loads of different cultures! Plus you can see the place where Notting Hill was filmed..!!

4. Head to Camden market

The most bohemian place to go in London. Anything goes and things are cheap. Plenty of celebs hit this spot and it makes for an aweome day out!

Embassy

29 Old Burlington Street
Mayfair, London W1S 3AP

On Saturday 19th of April I hit the Embassy club with a group of mates. Needless to say I had had a couple and things were ticking nicely but I couldn’t say that I had enjoyed myself.

The club is decorated nicely but then again most things look fantastic in the dark or after a couple. Upstairs is and eating area and a cocktail bar, and if one wonders downstairs there is a club vibe. The DJ ’spins’ tunes that are crowd and sure that many people with Cd’s could do the same sort of things!

The crowd is full of aggressive ladies and wanna be celebs which makes for a mood dampening time. If I do remember correctly, and I always do, there was an altercation. My mates tried to buy a drink but the wanna be at the bar didn’t want to make room for them to order. I minor argument ensued and that was that. But not a thing you want to happen on a night out in London.

I think the drinks are far to pricey for most of us normal people! I could have quite easily had a couple of cans at home and had the same experience with MTV dance in the background.

All in all a fun time was had by all but I don’t think I will be heading back there in a hurry.

If you have been there and had a better or worse experience than I, please don’t hesitate to comment.

Where does one feel safe??

Morning!

Now this is a very broad topic that draws from many things, but think we should explore it!

I live in London, United Kingdom and feel this aggressive cloud over the city. It seems that you cannot even look at someone without them wanting to fight with you or know why the hell you were looking at the friends third left finger!! And if you say you weren’t looking then they want to know why?!! Is this the same all over the world? And what causes with behaviour?

There are many accounts in the city of people being beaten and seriously injured because of this and I think its insane because the law doesn’t seem to catch up!

Case 1: City professionals in a bar dancing and having a good time on a Friday afternoon/evening. A gentleman from a different group bumps into the accused’s girlfriend on the dance floor. Accused beats man to death! (2006/2007)

Can anybody help me with this situation?! Have men and women done a full circle? Does this mean we are all degenerating back into neanderthals? I hope not, or maybe its a good thing?

And then just to add on to the fact that can’t have fun in a club or bar, there are the ‘hoodies’! These little wanna be rappers are terrible because they have the law on their side!  The law in the United Kingdom states that you may not raise a hand to a youngster. Fair enough but if that youngster has a knife, I am going to raise more than my hand at him!

Some say that this stems from poor schooling. Some say its the parents. Some say its the booze culture of Britain.

What do you think?
